NKCES April Teacher Feature is Rhonda Klette from Scott High School

Rhonda is the Department Chair for Special Education and Head Girls Basketball Coach at Scott High School. She is this month’s NKCES Teacher Feature because of her work with the PASS (Positive Approach to Student Success) Program. Rhonda has been the PASS Coach at Scott for 6 years. After attending a PASS training at the Behavior Institute she brought back the program to implement with her caseload students. With her knowledge and fidelity of implementation, she pioneered the PASS Program into a district-wide initiative and assisted in training and mentoring new PASS Coaches. Rhonda exemplifies PASS Coaching through her collaboration with general education staff, rapport with her students and families, a teacher leader in PASS district-wide, PASS tracker data-based decision making for students, and Why Try Social Skills Instruction in order to build student resiliency.

Congratulations Rhonda and thank you for all you do for Northern Kentucky Students and Families!
