Linda Lane Named OVR College and Career Readiness Trainer for NKCES

Linda Lane has joined NKCES as the newly created OVR College and Career Readiness Trainer and will be based from the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services based in Cold Spring, KY.

Linda has over 20 years of experience working with and teaching students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her most recent position, Linda served The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky in Covington, KY, where she developed and maintained relationships with educators, vocational counselors, and families to identify needs of high school students preparing for post-secondary training and/or employment opportunities.  In recognition of the Northern Kentucky needs and in a true entrepreneur style, Linda developed and implemented a transition curriculum designed to enhance work readiness through a hands on work-based learning experiences for high school students in the Northern Kentucky area.  As word of her unique program grew, so did the enrollment and school participation.

As the CCR Coach for NKCES, Linda will be responsible for the CCR agreement, and student participation programs to fulfill the requirements of the Kentucky Department of Education’s regulations regarding grants, conferences, and ongoing trainings for the Northern Kentucky region.

Thank you for joining The NKCES Team in welcoming Linda Lane to the team.
