The responsibility of a preschool director may consist of creating procedures, managing staff and overseeing daily operations. The director is the lead administrator of the program and assist with problems with staff and students. They assist in developing the curriculum and ensure the school meets any standards set by law. Other duties may include determining spending responsibilities and making admission decisions.

Current position: Regional Director of Special Education for the Northern KY Cooperative for Educational Services. Formerly an Assistant Superintendent for Student Services (10 years), Director of Special Education (12 years) and Special Education Teacher (11 years). Obtained a Rank 1 certificate (Supervision of Instruction) from University of Cincinnati, Master’s Degrees from University of KY and Northern KY University and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown College. I have a total of 40 years in education with emphasis in special education.
